Jen Nguyen, a Coppell High School Junior, was selected as one of 25 semi-finalists in the 2007 Senior Division of the Young Artist Piano Competition (sponsored by WRR & KRLD radio stations and Baldwin Piano Company).
Besides being an academically excellent student at CHS, Jen, a student of Mrs. Boukadoum’s at Coppell Conservatory, has been an extremely successful pianist. She has consistently won awards in a variety of piano competitions. In addition, she is a member of the very prestigious CHS Madrigal Choir, and is an accomplished swimmer with numerous awards under her belt.
On November 5, 2007, three finalists will be selected. The first place winner will be awarded a Baldwin Artist Console piano. To hear Jen play one of her pieces, go to the Young Artist Piano Competition area on http://www.krld.com. Well done Jen, congratulations!
